One day last week, I was listening to an American author as she was sharing her story on UCB1 radio. She was talking about her battle from childhood, with bulimia and anorexia.

Then at the weekend, I was taking part in the Tastelife training course that would enable me and 12 others to lead small group sessions, to help people suffering from eating disorders taking baby steps toward recovery.

The Tastelife course was developed by Diana Archer and Jean Hart. These amazing ladies both have daughters who suffered from eating disorders. And finding very little to help them through the struggle, they bravely and courageously set out to fill the gap.

With 1 in 10 person suffering from eating disorders, the harvest is is plenty but the labourers are few. If you have a passion to make a difference, or a heart to help, you can support Tastelife actively by becoming a leader and making the sessions available to sufferers and carers in your local area; financially with your money donations to the Tastelife charity; or/and spiritually with your prayers.

You can join us in anyway you like. It is a blessing to be a blessing.

And if you feel your life is under the control of a eating disorder, or you know somebody who does, you can get in touch with Tastelife and they will point you to your local Tastelife sessions leaders, or email me and  I will do my best to help.
